BOOK OF AMOS

  Dear beloved in Christ.  This article follows the development of the selected topic from the book of Amos.  Though the bible talks about 16 written prophets; these are like - Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. but historically Amos is the first written prophet in the Bible. Among these prophets, Johnna didn't preach to Isreal, rather he preaches to Nineveh (present-day it's called Iraq), rests fifteen prophets preached to Isreal. There are other prophets are found in Bible, who came before Amos – the most famous prophets are Elisa & Elisaya, but they never wrote any written prophetical books. Amos was from Tekoa, which was situated to the southern kingdom ("The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa" Amos 1:1a). Bosch in his book entitled “TRANSFORMING MISSION Paradigm Shifts in Theology of Mission:” This book review shall be presented in four (4) parts.
